Hi All....I just wanted to let ya'll know the Princess and I are getting ready for a busy season again this year. I am recovering from major ankle reconstruction surgery in January and should be able to walk without crutches in May. I haven't been able to do any work on the coupes this winter but will be able to start cleaning and tweaking again soon!
Our first show will be the NSHS show on April 4, 2009....it's a neat show that won't disappoint. Then the same day is the first cruise at A1 speed shop where they host the valve cover races. The Princess is so ready to race this year....we'll see! Then on April 11, 2009 a few of us are putting on the Inaugural Country Roads Rally....check out the Stafford Classics or Capital Cruisin websites for more information, it will be a hoot. We end at Foster's Grille for their first cruise this year and it's hosted by Virginia Stockers. We are going to stay closer to home this year with the Richmond NSRA deal in August probably being the farthest we will travel.

The Princess and I hope to see you at shows, cruises or road trips this year....remember ya gotta drive them cars....the trip is the deal, not just the destination.
I lived the 'American Graffiti' deal in So. Cal. from '61 to '73. We cruised from one end of Riverside, Cal to the other, from B&B Drive In across the street from the hospital, down Magnolia Ave to the A&W Root Beer by Hole Ave in Arlington. I didn't have a hot rod then....I drove my '52 DeSoto or rode with my friend, Lee, that had a 53 Chevy. Fast forward and now my wife (who I met at the A&W above) and I cruise everywhere in Virginia with our hot rod.
